Day 1: Tarangire National Park \u2013 Giants of the Savannah<\/b><\/p>

Your adventure begins at 7:30 am with pick-up from your accommodation in Arusha. Meet your dedicated Nutcracker Africa Expeditions guide and enjoy a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, about 1 hour and 45 minutes away.<\/p>

Famed for its ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in northern Tanzania, Tarangire offers a classic safari experience. Spend the day exploring the riverine forests and open grasslands in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators like lions and cheetahs.<\/p>

Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River and continue your game drive into the afternoon. Exit the park in the late afternoon and drive to a campsite in the nearby area for dinner and overnight.<\/p>
